I’ll definitely refer back to this when I do eventually visit. You’ve balanced the itinerary well with a decent range of things to do over two days.
Not sure the five pairs of sunglassess were a necessity to bring home back to England but it’s fun you got to haggle a little bit! That bookshop looks incredible too!

Thanks so much Leighton, that’s so kind of you to say 🙂 I really enjoyed pulling the itinerary together and trying to give a good mix of things to do and see. I couldn’t get over how good the food was, and how cheap KL as a city was to explore in general.

I love how you’ve balanced nature, culture, and city life, starting with the KL Forest Eco Park and then diving into the city’s colonial history at Merdeka Square is a fantastic mix. Your practical tips on transport and managing the heat are super helpful, especially for first-time visitors. The food recommendations sound amazing too; Kuala Lumpur’s affordability and culinary diversity make it such an appealing destination. Thanks for sharing such a well-thought-out guide!

This is great Hannah although we’ll only have one day… I’m going to save it and go through it in detail next week!

There really is so much to see and do 🙂 I found even just strolling around and eating took up more than a few days of my time hehe!! I completely agree it’s a city of contrast and variety, with so many historical and modern buildings to see! Thanks for stopping by Corna x

You’d love the gardens, it’s such a green city. We were really impressed all round and would definitely return should the opportunity arise 🙂

It’s such an amazing city with a lot more to offer than people initially expect. We fell in love with it and were glad we gave it 5 days as we felt we really able to enjoy it properly. It was just sooo cheap as well!
