Even from your photos, I can see how impressive it is. And it’s nice to know that even with your already high expectations, this place still blew your mind. What a lot of fortune can buy! It’s kind of sad to read about how Belle, her mother, and her siblings at one point began identifying as white. But I guess they did this to fit in the society, and it’s very human to do whatever we could to survive.
