Hi Sandy, thanks for your note. You will have a wonderful time visiting KL and Penang. The beach at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi is lovely, no rocks or anything to worry about. Penang is also home to a number of good beaches, like Batu Ferringhi Beach.

We have 14 nights Total excluding travel time. We have not been to Malaysia. How is the beach at Ritz in Langkawi? Is the water clear with no rock in the ocean to walk into? Trying to decide if which city or Island should we visit beside KUL and Penang?

What are a must thing to see in KUL? Another drama is trying to decide where to stay in KUL & Penang, so many hotels to chose from.

Please share your thoughts and advice us. We are coming from Dallas. Arriving to KUL and departing back from Penang to Dallas. Your help is greatly appreciated. I need to read all your posting.

The adults only pool looks divine. The housekeeping team are so sweet. I had no idea you could fashion so many animals out of the humble towel, I think the orangutan’s my favourite. Their inability to get your husband’s name right and the wildly inaccurate guesses as to how long you’d been married made me laugh 🙂

The villa sounds dreamy, and those little touches from housekeeping (even with the funny mix-ups) were so thoughtful. Appreciate the honest take on Langkawi being more touristy too. Definitely adding that bubu spa to my wishlist!

It was a special stay, that’s for sure!! We had the best time, despite the anniversary and name confusion 🙂 The adults only pool was something special….I could have paddled about in that for hours on end!
