Wonderful! Budapest is also one of my favourite cities and I can’t wait to go back there and explore it a bit more! I stayed there for 4 days and my itinerary was very similar to yours, so I completely approve! One of my best decisions there was to book walking tours (of the city in general and of the synagogue), I learnt so much more than I would have in a guide book! Thanks for sharing and bringing back nice memories!

Thanks for bringing me back there – I so enjoyed your tour. I spent a long weekend there many years ago when I was living in Europe. I didn’t get to all those places, but found it romantic, historic and different, in a good way.

I totally agree there is never enough time; I really do think Budapest is an amazing city. I totally fell in love with it; it’s a close 2nd on the best city breaks I’ve ever been on. Oh noooo, though missing out on the castle sounds like the perfect excuse to maybe return when you’re back in Europe next 🙂 Thanks so much for commenting and have a good day!

It’s definitely a city worth a visit – I totally agree about those Eastern European cafes and restaurants and gorgeous grand buildings; they are amazing. Ohhhh I head to Hamburg in December (all things being well) and that is definitely on the list to visit, I’ve heard rave reviews! Aww so glad you like the winter pictures. Oh thanks so much – I absolutely loved the city and definitely think it’s worth visiting on any visit to Eastern Europe.
