It’s such a beautiful city isn’t it. You are so lucky to have lived there for 6 months, what an amazing experience 🙂 Hope you had a lovely Christmas!

Even though I lived in Vienna for 6 months, I never went inside the Schonnbrun palace, but I’ve seen all the other buildings many times and loved them! Your pictures are also beautiful, they really give a fairytale-like atmosphere to the city! 😍

Thank you so much Maggie, that’s kind of you to say. Yes the cathedral’s roof is very unique 🙂 Have a lovely evening.

You did so much in one day!! Yeah I agree it’s very regal and grand, a link back to the Austro-Hungarian empire like you say. I’m glad it brought back some happy memories for you 🙂 Thanks for commenting and have a lovely day.

It’s definitely so sophisticated and full of culture and beautiful architecture. Like you, I really hope to return one day for a longer period of time.

I thought Vienna was such a sophisticated city with its wonderful architecture and there’s now such a nice mix of cultures. One of the cities that I want to return to.

I only had one, full day in Vienna, but it’s definitely true that the architecture is incredibly elegant, reminiscent of the opulence of the Austro-Hungarian Empire back in the day. The Sachertorte is certainly divine, and paired with a cup of tea or coffee, it makes for the perfect afternoon break! Thanks for sharing and bringing back memories of this place. 🙂
