It’s such a beautiful city – the walls at sunrise must have been so nice. It’s amazing so much of them has survived so I’m really pleased you got to experience them 🙂

I remember staying in York for around two days too and I loved the vibe of the city – we didn’t see half of all the things you mentioned though, so I should definitely go back! I have a very fond memory of my time in York and I remember walking on the city walls at sunrise on a very crisp sunny morning! Thanks for sharing!

It’s such a beautiful street isn’t it – such an incredible amount of history in the city makes it really special.

You know your English history! The ‘princes in the tower’ are one of the most infamous events that took place during the Wars of the Roses. Whether Richard did it or not, we will never know. I grew up in a place called Market Bosworth, which is where Richard III was killed and there is a museum there which charts the history of the conflict – it’s such an interesting and bloody period of time.
